RASPBERRY ‘Autumn Bliss’

RASPBERRY ‘Autumn Bliss’

raspberry-autumn-bliss

These canes carry the latest raspberries of the year. Cropping slowly in August, Autumn Bliss picks up the pace in September, its most productive month. In Indian summers, raspberries can still be picked in the first weeks of October.

Fruit is medium sized, typically 3.3 grams in weight, mid to dark red with a pleasant flavour and good keeping qualities. Fruit size is maintained well throughout the season.

A primocane, it produces fruit on first year wood.

The short, erect, spiny canes of this variety need little support. If support is needed a stout stick or cane for each plant and twine around the branches about 50 cm off the ground will do very well.

‘Autumn Bliss’ is resistant to root rot.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
